Tea Treat – Snickerdoodle Cake Slice

Time for Tea Please?

With autumn in full swing here’s the perfect Tea Treat to brighten up those darkening days.

SNICKERDOODLE Cake Slice !!!

Ingredients
For the cake:
250g SR. Flour
230g Caster Sugar
1 Tablespoon Cinnamon
2 Teaspoons baking powder
2 eggs
250ml Milk
125g melted butter

For the Cinnamon Sugar: 3 Tablespoons Sugar , 3 Teaspoons Cinnamon

Now get your bake on !

* In a bowl sift the flour, sugar, cinnamon and baking powder in a bowl
* Separately whisk the eggs and milk and pour into the dry mix and combine together
* Fold in the melted butter to make a smooth mix
* Pour half the mix into a greased lined baking tin and sprinkle 2/3 of the cinnamon sugar
* Spoon the rest of the mixture on top and smooth over
* Sprinkle on the remaining sugar
* Bake for around 20/30 mins or until firm
* Leave to cool in the tin (if you can wait)
* Slice and Serve
